Day 01 – Arrival / Negombo (Approx. 30 mins | 20 km)

• Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, warmly welcomed by your chauffeur guide.
• Transfer to Negombo and check-in at the hotel.
• Relax on the beach or explore Negombo Fishing Village by Tuk Tuk.
• Optional visits: Fish Market, Dutch Fort, Angurukaramulla Temple, St. Mary’s Church.
• 🏨 Overnight at 4-star hotel – Bed & Breakfast.

Day 02 – Negombo → Wilpattu (Approx. 3.5 hrs drive)

• Early breakfast at the hotel.
• Morning wetland bird-watching tour in Muthurajawela Sanctuary — home to 192 species of flora and 209 fauna, including the Slender Loris.
• Transfer to Wilpattu National Park.
• Check-in at Standard Camsite in Wilpattu.
• Afternoon game drive in Wilpattu — famous for leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and “Willus” (natural lakes).
• 🏨 Overnight at campsite – Half Board.

Day 03 – Wilpattu → Polonnaruwa → Dambulla / Sigiriya (Approx. 2.5 hrs drive)

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Proceed to Polonnaruwa and enjoy a cycling tour of the UNESCO Ancient City (approx. 10 km).
• Lunch at local restaurant (Payment Direct).
• Transfer to Dambulla / Sigiriya for overnight stay.
• 🏨 Overnight at a 4 Star hotel – Half Board.

Day 04 – Sigiriya & Dambulla

• Early morning climb to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the 5th-century “Lion Rock.”
• Sigiriya village tour — boat ride, bullock cart ride, paddy fields, and rural vegetable cultivation.
• Lunch at a village home.
• Visit Dambulla Cave Temple — UNESCO World Heritage site with 2,000 m² of murals and over 150 Buddha statues.
• Overnight at a 4 Star hotel – Half Board.

Day 05 – Dambulla / Sigiriya → Knuckles Mountains (Approx. 3.5 hrs drive)

• Breakfast at campsite.
• Transfer to Knuckles Mountain Range.
• Check-in at Standard Campsite.
• Afternoon short trekking tour to explore the evergreen forest. Knuckles Range is part of Sri Lanka’s Central Highlands UNESCO site, rich in biodiversity.
• 🏨 Overnight at a Standard campsite – Full Board.

Day 06 – Knuckles 

• Breakfast at campsite.
• Walking tour of Meemure Village — one of Sri Lanka’s most remote villages with eco-friendly homes.
• Lunch at a village house.
• Guided waterfall trekking with water activities.
• 🏨 Overnight at a Standard campsite – Full Board.

Day 07 – Knuckles → Mahiyanganaya (Approx. 3 hrs drive)

• Breakfast at campsite.
• Transfer to Mahiyanganaya.
• Village trekking and pottery demonstration.
• Visit Kaluwa Wetuna Ella & Rathna Ella waterfalls.
• 🏨 Overnight at Keven’s Casa Hotel or Similar– Half Board.

Day 08 – Mahiyanganaya / Maduru Oya

• Sunrise at Soraborawewa Lake with catamaran ride and breakfast on a rock boulder.
• Leisure time before afternoon safari in Maduru Oya National Park — home to herds of elephants and diverse wildlife.
• 🏨Overnight at Keven’s Casa Hotel or Similar – Half Board.

Day 09 – Mahiyanganaya → Gal Oya (Approx. 2 hrs drive)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Transfer to Gal Oya National Park.
• Boat and jeep safari — observe elephants, crocodiles, and exotic birds from the water.
• 🏨 Overnight at Gal Oya Lodge or Similar – Bed & Breakfast.

Day 10 – Gal Oya → Yala (Approx. 3 hrs drive)

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer to Yala and check-in at Leopard Nest or Similar
• Afternoon safari at Yala National Park — highest leopard density, elephants, sloth bears, and wild buffalo.
• BBQ dinner under the stars.

Day 11 – Yala → Bundala

• Early morning safari at Yala National Park.
• Breakfast at campsite and leisure time.
• Afternoon safari at Bundala National Park — famous for migratory birds including flamingos.
• BBQ dinner under the stars.

Day 12 – Yala → Udawalawe (Approx. 3 hrs drive)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Transfer to Udawalawe and check-in at Hotel in Udawalawe.
• Afternoon safari in Udawalawe National Park — observe Sri Lankan elephants, sambar deer, water buffalo, and monitor lizards.
• 🏨 Overnight at a 4 Star Hotel– Bed & Breakfast.

Day 13 – Udawalawe → Sinharaja Rainforest (Approx. 4 hrs drive)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Transfer to Sinharaja Rainforest and check-in at The Rainforest Ecolodge.
• Evening trekking in the rainforest — UNESCO World Heritage site and home to 95% of Sri Lanka’s endemic birds.

Day 14 – Sinharaja → Mirissa (Approx. 3 hrs drive)

Day 15 – Whale Watching in Mirissa

• Early morning pickup for whale watching (packed breakfast provided).
• Spot Blue Whales, Sperm Whales, dolphins, and turtles (best from November to April).
• Return to hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 16 – Mirissa → Airport (Approx. 3 hrs drive)
